What I love most about Kelly Wearstler’s work is the irreverent spirit she infuses in every room she designs. Ofcourse the rooms are beautiful but they are also edgy and creative. Kelly takes risk with color and pattern that most wouldn’t imagine. She masterfully mixes shape, texture, pattern, form and color into perfect harmony that adds emotion to a room. Also, I appreciate her to attention to detail especially the way she uses embroidery and metallic finishes.
Signature elements you can expect to see in Kelly Wearstler’s design calling card include:
- Sophisticated and Bold Color Combinations
- Metallic Finishes
- Pattern Mixed with Pattern
- Making the Normal Unique
- Lots of Embellishments
- Always a Bit of Surprise

Here’s another cool fact: Kelly Wearstler bought and restored the 1920s Beverly Hills estate and former home of James Bond producer Albert Broccoli. I think she still lives in it with her husband.
I hope you enjoyed it too. Which room or item was your favorite?
