Congratulations for making the decision and just do it! I chose to start with my own .com site on WordPress.org which was a little more complicated at first but there’s no right or wrong way to do it. Just begin. If you’re on facebook or twitter search for groups to help you. Also, there are many online learning communities, meet-up groups across the US and conferences for blogging support. I look forward to seeing what you Go Forth & Create!
