I have a son who would rather eat pizza than anything else in the world. His favorite is Pizza Margherita. To add some spice to his lunch box rotation he absolutely loves it when I make flatbread pizza. This quick and easy pizza recipe is an excellent way to delight your get your kids while getting them to eat more vegetables. You will enjoy it too!
One package flatbread
Italian herbs or oregano
Sliced Roma tomatoes
Sprinkle flatbread with Extra Virgin Olive Oil (optional)
Place flatbread in oven for about 3 minutes, remove from oven
Spread pizza sauce on flatbread then sprinkle with oreganoAdd sliced tomatoes, mozzarella slices, sliced fresh basilCook for 15 – 20 min at 375 degrees until cheese is melted
You can change the recipe to any vegetables you like.
To change it up sometimes I add mushrooms, spinach
