Our Mother’s leave an indelible mark on our hearts and our memories. We become who we are in large part because of our mothers. Her love can be one of God’s greatest gifts to us. I’ve been a mother for 20 years now and I can say without a doubt it’s been the most rewarding job I could have ever imagined.
Being a Mother is joyous, frustrating, always new, never complete, inspiring, life altering, sacrificial, loving, full of wisdom, tender, hopeful, tiresome, spiritual, underrated, compassionate, neccessary, a sisterhood, a gift, and the most meaningful work on the planet!

Can soothe our disappoints
And calm all of our fears.
There are times when only a Mother’s love
Can share the joy we feel
When something we’ve dreamed about
Quite suddenly is real.

Mommie, you were a wonderful example of grace, giving, love, forgiveness, dedication, hard work, sacrifice, Godliness, and perserverance to me. I so appreciate all that you did to blaze trails and forge paths for our future. I love you so much and I miss you more than words can say.
